Dreaming of a better world![]() Jaap Dieleman
With the desire to do something for the 148 million orphans worldwide, we started Abba Child Care International. ‘Abba’ is the Hebrew word for daddy. And that is exactly what we want to do: providing them the love & care of a father & mother.
Based on the biblical commission to care for widows and orphans we cast the vision to provide such love and care for 10.000 of these kids. How we turn this dream into a reality? We plan to do it in two ways. We look for sponsor-parents who are willing to adopt a child for only € 25,- a month* . Click here to read more. And we build homes for the homeless where they receive love, care and education so they have a bright future. Click here to read more. Our greatest project of this kind is “Abba Village”. The movie on the right, pictures our vision and passion. We hope you will get as excited as we are and join us in this great project. * We have increased the sponsor-amount from 20 to 25 euro. This is because the economic growth in India. Unfortunately the poor don't benefit from this growth, om the contrary, they are suffering more, as prices are increasing and all things become more expensive. So, we were forced to increase the support to maintain a good standard. We ask your understanding for this decision. |
Happy smiles
This video clip, made in Rajasthan when I visited our kids, captures our heartbeat and passion. Their happy smiles is what we had in mind when we rescued them from slavery. Without any help they were doomed to live in poverty, begging for food, or worse, sold into slavery, or forced into prostitution. We dream of a better world, and we see the need to help them. We hope you see it too and help us to do something about it. For doing nothing is not an option. And when we all do a little, together we can make a big difference and create lots of happy smiles on the faces of these little ones. Join us to create more happy smiles aroud the word, by sponsoring a child or/and becoming a sponsor of our ministry for the poor. Jaap Dieleman |
